Great little bar. Food was good and some creative stuff you don't see on every menu. I had the fried bologna sandwich for lunch. It was great. It was tough to choose from some unique options. Nothing fancy but just what you want in a roadside bar.
Had a fantastic time at Cabin 61 in White Bear Lake. The in the pickle Burger was amazing, Fried pickles are nice crisp and tasty. And perfectly seasoned fried wings. This place has a pretty good atmosphere good spacing between tables and really good servers. I'll be trying to return as soon as possible. And will be recommending this place to everybody I know
The gouda burger was delicious, juicy, and flavorful a 10/10. The brisket melt was also tasty. We did ask for some extra bbq sauce, and that was perfect. The parmesan tots are worth going back for on their own! Beverage selections are good and decently priced. We, however, were disappointed in the grilled peach cheesecake. It sounded so good, and we wanted to love it, but the peaches were hard and cold and almost flavorless, like they had been partially cooked but not finished, instead of warm grilled, sweet, soft peaches. Unfortunately, it was kind of just a bland dessert 3/10. Overall, it was still a great meal, and the patio was wonderful. We will be back!
Great place to eat on a Friday night. This was my second time here and I was blown away again. The food is outstanding. The atmosphere is very peaceful and the staff are very friendly. My best friend and I decided to try the Gouda burgers and they were Incredible. The richness of flavor that was on these burgers was top-notch. I will definitely come back here.
Huge outdoor space overlooking a pond with a fountain. Can get a little toasty if you don't get a spot under a sun sail. Food was very tasty and prices were fairly standard. I had the Turkey sandwich and it was quite good Skip the fries and stick with the chips. Very crispy kettle style chips with nice seasoning.
Wheelchair accessible and great little outdoor dining. There are two doors that you can get through, You can eat indoors or outdoors accessibly. Known for their burgers, but they’re sweet surprise. Is this peach salad for summer, friendly staff very booked perfect for lunch.
Wow. So yummy from the food to the drink. Went at a slow time on a very hot day and asked for a patio. Lacie was happy to accommodate and gave great service even in the heat. Thank you for letting me enjoy my day off lunch on the patio.
I don't find myself eating burgers all that often anymore but there is something about eating a burger after a long hike that just feels right. Especially, when it ends up being an EPIC burger! I stopped in here a few weeks back after a long hike. I've had it saved on my maps for a while so I'm glad I finally got to check it out. From the minute I walked in, I felt like I was in the right place for a good burger. Not to mention the staff were also super friendly and personable. I went ahead and ordered the "Just Too Gouda To Be True Burger" with parmesan fries. It was easily one of the best burger and fry combos I have had all year. You get a nice sized patty which isn't greasy so it allows the other ingredients to shine as well. I liked the flavor from the apple onion jam and the garlic aioli. The richer tastes from the bacon and gouda complimented everything nicely as well. The fries were a little larger cut while still being nice and crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. In my opinion, this is the best style of fry! I also had the joy of chatting with some regulars at the bar. They were such kind folks and I really enjoyed chatting with them. During this time, I decided it only made sense to go ahead and try out one of their desserts they were featuring that day I believe which was the apple crisp with a strawberry rhubarb shortcake ice cream. I could've housed like 3 of these. It was such a stellar dessert and it's also served warm. The whole experience here was perfect, I loved the aesthetic of the space and this will be one of my go to spots for burgers in the future.
